Yakov Kasman’s debut in America in 1997 as Silver Medalist in the Tenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in Fort Worth was the culmination of several competition triumphs and tours in Europe and the Middle East. He has given concerts worldwide and has appeared as soloist with more than seventy orchestras. He is now the Distinguished Professor of Piano and Artist-in-Residence at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Aleksandra Kasman has also established and international solo career, and has become a dedicated music educator herself. She holds a PianoArts Artist-in-Residence Fellowship and recently completed her fourth consecutive teaching and performing tour for PianoArts. Dina Kasman is a sophomore at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she studies with her father. She is the first prize winner of the 2019 Gulf Coast Steinway Society and Birmingham Music Club Scholarship competitions. Tatiana Kasman is a graduate of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Russia. In addition to her main areas of interest, piano and music theory, she also studied organ and voice. She is an adjunct piano instructor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a recipient of the 2019 "AMTA Teacher of the Year" award.
